Goals

Success means different things to different teams. We have established our criteria for success this year:

1. Design and build a functional robot based upon game objectives.

2. Have students perform design and build tasks to the greatest extent permitted by their ability and the project constraints.

3. Compete in at least one regional event.

4. Develop abilities in fabrication, wiring, programming, pneumatics, and mechanical drawing and testing.

5. Develop an awareness of the methodology and objectives of engineering and design through the mentoring of practicing engineers.

6. Make advances towards the transformational goals of FIRST by promoting an appreciation of science and technology throughout the school and the local community.
